Mantra Meditation Practice
A mantra is a sound, word or phrase repeated to aid your concentration while meditating. It is believed that while using mantras in meditation, we eliminate negativity, making way for positive thoughts and intentions to fill our mind.
Repeating positive affirmations such as "I am creative", "I am patient", " I am grounded", "I am happy", etc., has been proven to rewire synapses in the brain to embody these positive thoughts.
Repetition is important to achieving your goal.
When choosing a mantra, or affirmation, set an intention that compliments your motivations for meditation. What are you looking for? Positivity, happiness, self-love, confidence, abundance, health or balance?
Here are some examples of mantras and affirmations you can use:
Resilience I am creative, I am balanced, I am energized
